Past the initial blast of ethanol, redolent aromas of bourbon barrel dominate with authoritative notes of rich vanilla, caramel, charred oak, acetone, orange peel, and warming spice. Full-bodied and viscous, it coats the tongue with a thick, oily mouth feel. Big, powerful palate-smacking waves of buttered caramel, vanilla frosting, dried stone fruit, burnt oak, turpentine, bitter orange rind, smoke, and spicy ethanol. Very long, scorching finish that seems to go on for an eternity with long, lingering notes of birthday cake, caramel chews, bourbon glazed fruit, charred oak, solvent, and hot ethanol.
