When we first nosed this sample a while ago, we thought it was Hampden It’s only on the pallet you notice that it’s just a little bit (just a little bit) more approachable than a Hampden. It’s, what you could call, a ‘gentlemen’s Hampden’. What a great Jamaican rum this is! We found out there was 1 sister cask so we chased it, but this one was much better and we skipped the sister cask. So this will probably be our only New Yarmouth for a long period of time… Don’t miss it!
